IMDEA Nanociencia organizes the 2023 Joint European Magnetic Symposia (JEMS2023) in association with the European Magnetism Association (EMA). The Grupo Pacifico – JEMS2023 Official Secretariat handles abstract submissions and registration.
Attendees must register by filling out one Online Registration form per person. Please, introduce the attendee's name, surname, company or institution, city, and country as wished to appear on the conference badge. They will receive a reservation confirmation; if you do not receive it, don't hesitate to get in touch with the Technical Secretariat at

A confirmation voucher and invoice will be sent after the payment is received. Please review it carefully and take note of your registration number. This number will be requested for any further change or check.

All prices include 21% VAT (taxes).

The Conference dinner ticket can be bought as an additional option (the price is soon to be determined).

Virtual registration fee includes:

- Online access to all sessions with active participation (live oral presentations and Q&A options).

Accompanying person registration fee includes:
- Welcome reception.
- On-site lunches.
- Coffee breaks and refreshments.
- Access to the conference venue.
The prices indicated are per person and are only applicable if both the registration form and the payment are received before the deadlines.
Invoices
Only a digital version of invoices will be sent to participants upon completion of the online registration and after the registration fee is paid. The invoice will be issued using the billing details provided on the registration form, so please provide the correct information (company name, address and VAT/tax identification number, if applicable).
Videos and photographs
The JEMS2023 organizer reserves the right to record in the form of video or photograph all sessions included in the programme and to use videos in any internal and external communication referring to JEMS2023, including, but not limited to, its websites, mobile application, and social media. By registering for JEMS2023, the attendee consents to such uses by the conference organizer.
Please note that the only legitimate sources of communication-related to JEMS2023 will be from the JEMS Secretariat (email only) and the email addresses of the members of the Organising Committee, Programme Committee and symposia chairs.
All payments have to be made in Euros. The following payment methods will be available:
Credit Card Online: you will be redirected to a Bank secure page. VISA, Mastercard and American Express are accepted.
Bank Transfer: detailed banking information will be provided automatically upon request by e-mailing
Payment on-site: Cash (Euro) or credit card (VISA, Mastercard and American Express) are accepted.
We understand that cancellations are sometimes necessary. Delegates who cancel their attendance before June 27, 2023, at 23:59 (GMT+1) will receive a refund minus 50 € for processing fee. No refunds will be granted for cancellation after June 28, 2023.

Refunds will be issued after the Conference. Bank charges will be deducted from the refund. Refunds will be paid in Euros.
JEMS 2023 Organisers will not be responsible for any losses incurred by attendees, including (but not limited to) airline cancellation charges or hotel deposits.

- As an event organized under the umbrella of the European Magnetism Association, JEMS2023 follows the policy discussed and decided for all of its events. The participation of persons with affiliation in the Russian Federation or in Belarus will not be considered, both on-site and online. However, any Individual may participate with no affiliation, or identified with an ORCID number.

EMA and JEMS2023 organizers will promote programmes to provide specific support to participants with affiliation in Ukraine. Participants in this situation should register but they should contact the organization before proceeding with payment of the registration fee.
